NOVAnimal Equine is a unique combination of pre- and probiotics specifically formulated for horses and ponies.

Each serving provides 10 billion live beneficial microorganisms that help restore and maintain healthy intestinal microbial balance, thus supporting digestive and overall health.

These live microorganisms (9 different strains) have proven health benefits and well-established safety, and have been tested for epithelial cell adhesion and resistance to low pH.

WHEN USE IT?

The Equine formula is ideal for foals, broodmares and all horses exposed to stress or prone to digestive upsets.

+ BROODMARES:

Bacterial infections in the reproductive tracts of mares are one of the leading causes of infertility. Probiotics have been shown to be a safe alternative to antibiotics in helping prevent and treat urological infections.

Poor colostrum quality remains the primary cause of poor immunity in foals and exposure to life-threatening infections. Probiotic supplementation can improve the quality of the mare’s colostrum by increasing its antibody concentration. Probiotics should be introduced no later than at the beginning of the last trimester.

+ FOALS:

Early administration of probiotics promotes the establishment of commensal bacteria, preventing pathogen colonization of the gastrointestinal tract.

Feeding probiotics from birth may also improve growth by optimizing feed conversion and decreasing the incidence of diarrhea.
